    POSITION DESCRIPTION 

     

    The External Supply Chain (ESC) Manufacturing team is seeking an ESC Manufacturing Manager to oversee the Thermal / Salty Platform.  This role provides manufacturing leadership, strategic supplier capability development and critical problem-solving leadership in our growing external supply chain network.  Strong partnership and strategy alignment with Sourcing will be critical to deliver on aligned objectives. While this role reports up through North America Retail (NAR), the work also supports Convenience & Foodservice (C&F) businesses. This role is a center resource assigned to a platform of expertise, collaborating with all functions in supply chain and the technical team to maximize business results.

     

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provide manufacturing leadership and support for ESC plants aligned with Thermal/Salty platform strategy.
    • Deliver capacity creation, debottlenecking, quality improvement, and efficiency initiatives.
    • The continuous improvement resource to selected suppliers, coaching them on CI methodology, tools, glidepaths, etc.
    • Collaborate with supply chain functions/technical teams to drive initiatives in external locations including NPI, HMM, capacity improvement, capital planning etc.
    • Partner with R&D to advance selected suppliers’ ability to deliver connected innovation for the business.
    • Navigate GMI tools and requirements with manufacturers capabilities and operations for business benefit.
    • Identify and drive internal CI opportunities for business benefit.

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

    • 5+ years of related experience
    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Ability to travel up to 25%
    • Manufacturing Leadership Experience
    • Ability to influence the organization at all levels
    • Understanding of continuous improvement tools/principals and how to coach, train and scale principals on the plant floor.
